SC (Stacy-Colleen) Nameth has been working as a psychotherapist since completing graduate school in 1999 at U.S.C. School of Social Work. She began working with children and teens being treated for cancer, moved into supporting victims of domestic violence and sexual assault, worked actively in the substance abuse and recovery field, directed a program for LGBTQIA youth, and taught graduate-level courses to psychology students.
At the same time, she began to specialize in helping clients heal their trauma with a variety of interventions such as EMDR (eye movement desensitization reprocessing), Somatic Experiencing, Trauma Resiliency Model, Internal Family Systems, DARe (Dynamic Attachment RePatterning) and has continued her counseling and training career ongoing throughout the years while adding a Flow Coaching Certification, Yoga Teacher 500 Certification/Yoga Nidra Teacher, and education in French culture, history and language as a Francophile.
