Jennifer Lanski is a Registered Associate Clinical Social Worker (#131872) supervised by Stacy-Colleen Nameth, LCSW (#20894). She received her Master of Social Work degree from Cal State LA and completed sexual assault and domestic violence counselor-advocate training with Peace Over Violence, where she was honored to work with a diverse population of survivors of various forms of interpersonal trauma.
Jennifer practices from a collaborative, client-centered, trauma-informed, and strengths-based perspective, believing that healing and growth best happen in the context of a supportive, attuned relationship. Her clinical work is grounded in attachment theory, interpersonal neurobiology, Polyvagal theory, and the theory of structural dissociation. Jennifer has a passion for working with survivors of interpersonal trauma such as sexual, domestic, and narcissistic abuse as well as early attachment wounds or deprivation, with a special interest in complex PTSD and OSDD/DID.
She believes that trauma is not the end of the story, but that the strength and courage required for someone to endure trauma and then seek healing and growth is an asset in creating their chosen future, a process she feels deeply honored to be part of. Jennifer also offers parenting support and enjoys working with clients who are navigating life transitions and challenges, including parenthood, fertility struggles, career changes, or divorce as well as those in the creative fields and academia.
Jennifer creates a warm, compassionate, and radically non-judgmental space, encouraging therapeutic risk-taking, curiosity, and self-compassion while recognizing the human imperfections in us all. Jennifer sees clients in person in Pasadena and over telehealth throughout the state of California.
