Ish is a Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist who came to this work through his own experience. Growing up as a second-generation Indian-American, he often felt pulled between different parts of himself and carried a quiet sense that something was “off.” That personal journey shapes how he shows up for clients: with curiosity, patience, and a deep belief that healing is possible. He has worked with adults navigating co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders in residential and outpatient settings, and brings that breadth of experience to his current work in private practice with individuals and couples.
Ish’s clinical focus includes developmental trauma, C-PTSD, and substance use disorders. He has a particular passion for working with teens and adults navigating video game and screen addiction, and with couples exploring how trauma and addiction drive disconnection. He also weaves creativity into his work. During his internship, he facilitated a popular rap music and process group to help participants move out of their heads and into their bodies.
His work is grounded in somatic and attachment-based approaches, integrating the Trauma Resiliency Model (TRM), EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFCT), and NeuroAffective Touch (NATouch) within a client-centered framework. He brings these together to help clients feel seen, supported, and empowered as they heal and reconnect. Ish offers in-person therapy in Pasadena and online sessions throughout California.
